Renowned for its sandy beaches and beautiful old town, the Vieste area is ideal for those who want to practice sports immersed in nature, with its varied landscape of woods, olive groves, dirt paths and verdant rocky coasts overlooking the sea.
Although the routes are numerous and embrace the entire Gargano area, one of the best areas to explore by bike it is that of the hinterland north of Vieste, where slowly leaving the coast, we find flat stretches immersed in the green of the olive groves, before entering the Umbra Forest.
The Umbra Forest it is a huge green lung of 10.000 hectares between beech and yew trees, a real paradise of biodiversity and there are numerous paths that allow you to practice trekking or mountain biking.
