During the summer, due to the large influx of tourists, unfortunately it is not very easy to find parking in the center of Vieste. Here most of the parking is paid (blue lines). In order not to incur a penalty, it is advisable to provide the appropriate time tickets.
From 20pm to 08am, pedestrian areas and limited traffic zones for residents (ZTL) which affect the entire downtown area. So be careful if you park in the center when the pedestrian areas and/or ZTL come into effect, the vehicle may be towed away. Inside the ZTL and the pedestrian area it is not possible to circulate with cars and/or park without authorisation. If you want to reach the center by car in the evening, it is advisable to rely on one of the paid parking lots located outside the ZTL, such as the one on the Europa seafront or the one in the port area, for example.
Parking tickets are also available in the form of a daily, weekly and monthly pass.
PARKING UPDATE IN VIESTE 2024
The rates for paid parking for the year 2024 are shown below
Rates for paid parking areas operate from 08:00 to 24:00 and are summarized as follows:
- Standard Rate: €1,00 per hour for each hour, with a daily rate of €7,00.
Exceptions:
- On Lungomare Europa and Lungomare Enrico Mattei, on weekends (Saturday and Sunday): The hourly rate is €2,00 per hour, with a daily rate of €10,00.
- In the Piazzale Lungomare Europa car park: The hourly rate is €1,00 per hour, with a daily rate of €5,00. For Gran Turismo buses, the daily rate is €35,00.
- In specific streets (P.le Manzoni, P.le Jenner, V.le XXIV Maggio, Via Veneto, Via Santa Maria di Merino, C.so L. Fazzini, V.le Marinai d'Italia, L.re C. Colombo ): From 08:00 to 24:00 (and until 20:00 in pedestrian areas), the hourly rate is €2,00 per hour, with a daily rate of €10,00.
Season tickets for non-residents (available via the money Go and Easypark apps):
- Weekly: €50,00
- Biweekly: €90,00
- Monthly: €150,00
Footnotes: Disabled residents in the Municipality of Vieste are exempt from fees on all municipal car parks.

LIMITED TRAFFIC ZONE in Vieste, 2022 update
In the highlighted areas from 20:00 to 7:00 the circulation and parking of all vehicles is prohibited, with the exception of vehicles used for all police services, the Armed Forces, public aid bodies that are suitably recognizable, as well as for vehicles serving people with limited mobility, holders of a valid badge and vehicles with access permits to the ZTL.
