After the cancellation of the stage originally scheduled for 17 May 2020, due to the Covid emergency, official confirmation arrives: the stage Giovinazzo – Vieste will be held on 10 October 2020.
The first part is essentially flat followed by a much more demanding final part on the Gargano.
After Manfredonia you climb the ascent of Monte Sant'Angelo and then go along the entire panorama in a continuous ups and downs dotted with innumerable curves up to Vieste.
The last km will be in a city circuit of 14.5 km with in the first part the demanding stretch of via Saragat of about 1 km with a long stretch around 15-17% followed by a long slight slope to descend until returning to the coast to cover the last two km flat until the finish. Arrival with final straight of 1000 m on asphalt (width 7.5 m)
