Baia dei Colombi is a small hidden bay, about one km north of the center of Vieste. The Baia dei Colombi takes its name from the "Grotta dei Colombi" which is located behind the largest beach, with a sandy bottom. Another small cove is a few meters to the south.
Access is not easy, you arrive via a path that, starting from the coast road to Peschici, crosses the Mediterranean scrub.
Precisely for this reason it appears to be an "intimate" beach, suitable for those who want to get away from the liveliness of the larger beaches such as San Lorenzo or Scialara, without going too far from the centre.
