The feast of San Giorgio is approaching and there is great anticipation for the inhabitants of Vieste and for the numerous visitors who flock to this splendid town in the Gargano every year to take part in the events dedicated to the Holy Knight, who together with Santa Maria di Merino he is the patron saint of the city.
La St George's Day it combines devotion and tradition, with moments of spirituality, culture and fun.
Among the most anticipated initiatives are the traditional horse race on the Castle beach, the omelette festival, the traveling shows of folk groups, the concert in Marina Piccola and the spectacular fireworks show.

From the 14 to the 21 April

• Every evening at 19pm, Solemn celebration and Novena in honor of Saint George.

21 April

• From 17pm, opening of the party with firecrackers shooting and tour of the CITTA' DI VIESTE – PAOLO RINALDI band complex. S. Giorgio Fair with food and wine stands at Marina Piccola, also active in the following days.
• At 18 pm, traveling show PIZZECHE&MUZZECHE with MAJORETTE AND NASTRI.
• At 22pm, FREE TALENTS singing evening by the association. BLUEMOON & JUST COOL BAND.

22 April

• At 07:00, firecrackers fired.
• At 19 pm, Pontifical presided over by Archbishop Father Franco Moscone.
• At 17 pm, tour of the “Città di Vieste – G. Cariglia” band complex.
• At 18pm, traveling show by the LA VESTESÈNE folk group.
• At 21pm, HOT-AIR BALLOON SHOW.
• At 22pm, DANCE UNDER THE STARS DJ SET with GABRIELINO DJ “ICEMAN DEE”, “GABRIEL DJ” and the social Tik-Toker “MICHELE ROMANO” at Marina Piccola.

23 April

• From 8am to 30pm, Holy Masses in the Cathedral with participation of the Celebration Committee.
• At 07:00, firecrackers fired and tour of the Band Complexes.
• At 10:00, Procession from the Cathedral Basilica with participation of the Archbishop, the Most Rev. Chapter and Priests.
• At 11:00, arrival of the procession in Piazza S. Maria delle Grazie with the launch of the "GREAT HOT AIR BALLOON" and the shooting of fireworks. Following, Holy Mass celebrated by the Archbishop with the participation of the Most Rev. Cathedral Chapter.
• At 11am, OMELET FESTIVAL in Piazza S. Maria delle Grazie.
• At 12:00, the procession returns to Marina Piccola with fireworks.
• At 18 pm, Traditional HORSE RACE at Spiaggia Castello.
• At 21pm, ROMAN HOLIDAY Concert with SILVIA MEZZANOTTE and CARLO MORRALE (GIA' MATIA BAZAR) in Piazza Marinai d'Italia.
• At midnight, closing of the party with a fireworks display at the Molo Nuovo.
