We tell a story of Viestana culture in the world, the story of Santa Maria's Pizzeria in London, considered one of the best pizzerias in London, which today, on the symbolic date of 9st May, manages to open his fourth venue, in Brentford, West London.
It all began in 2010 when Pasquale Chionchio and Angelo Ambrosio, lifelong Neapolitan friends, decided in 2010 to open a real Neapolitan pizzeria, true, as per the Neapolitan and southern tradition.
They find this little place in St.Mary's rd, Santa Maria, and with their savings they manage to make their dream come true.
Then the name.
Le Vieste origins di Pasquale made the choice of the name "Santa Maria" natural, as well as the idea of creating the logo of the image and likeness of the Santa Maria de Merino, as a tribute and tribute to the patron saint of all Viestans in the world.
Success was immediate, lines of Italians and not only began to form outside their small venue. After a few years, with another partner they open another pizzeria, called Sacro Cuore, in the Notting Hill area.
After this, another Santa Maria pizzeria in Fulham, a stone's throw from the Chelsea stadium, and then another in the centre, a stone's throw from the very central Oxford Circus. A few months ago it was the turn of another pizzeria, with another partner, but this time dedicated to music, in the trendy district of Hackney in the East area.
And today, May 9, a date almost desired by Santa Maria, in this period where many are in difficulty, their fourth store opens its doors, even if only for take-away and deliveries, waiting for better times.
The pizzeria is inside a warehouse-display of luxury cars and super cars, a new concept. But we know that Santa Maria is tradition, but also innovation…
