Visit Vieste and the Gargano by Camper

Traveling on the Gargano with the Camper has all the advantages of those who travel dragging a house behind them. A great convenience if we think that this means driving, noticing a dream beach, looking for a tree, parking, opening the door, pulling out a table, chairs and a book. Or a table, chairs and red wine. Or a table and chairs and that's it.

We are not saying anything new: the camper is that thing with many advantages and very few defects. Only that, and this is the point where we want to get to, traveling with a camper on the Gargano makes even more sense. The advantages are multiplied and the defects are reduced to a minimum.

By defects we obviously intend the question relating to the automobile. Because it's not like one can go shopping with the camper, nor even take a walk in the numerous historic centers of the Gargano, which are beautiful and must be visited. But we will elaborate on this aspect later, now let's try to understand why it makes much more sense to come to the Gargano with a camper than, even, to come without a camper.

First of all, from the point of view of tourism and travel, the Gargano was born as a hippy land, hundreds of hectares of countryside lying next to wild beaches. The game is done, the house is ready, the holiday is served, I'm on the sea, on the sand, in freedom.

The Gargano also offers a vast choice of bays, beaches, ravines, kilometers of breathtaking coastline where the camper is the master as he can literally choose the space he wants, the view he wants, the type of beach, sand or gravel, which wants. As if that weren't enough, the prices are low, which means the possibility of extending your holiday to two, three, four weeks. Virtually the entire holiday period available.

Let's come to the defects, therefore, the car.
There is a shuttle service in Vieste designed specifically for campsites. Active from early morning until late evening, it allows younger kids to go to town, walk around, go around the bars, and return to the camper. Same thing for adults.
As far as the problem of shopping is concerned, the camping areas are always well stocked with large supermarkets within walking distance. Again, a car is not required.
Finally, and this is perhaps the best part of the matter, the part in which the powerful strategy behind these car companies is revealed, about which German tourists have so much to teach us, the campers are large, they have an ingeniously structured to ensure comfort, functionality, provisions. With the camper it is always possible to bring along a couple of bikes, useful for getting around and changing areas. At this point the defects are cancelled.
