Vieste will remain at the top of Apulian tourism in 2025.
According to data from the Puglia Regional Tourist Observatory, updated to the first nine months of the year, the city has already exceeded the threshold of 2 million tourist presences, currently maintaining the regional lead ahead of Bari and the other main tourist destinations in the region.

According to partial data published on the observatory's website, from January to September 2025 Vieste recorded:
- Total arrivals: 363.090
- Italian arrivals: 282.839
- Foreign arrivals: 80.251
- Total attendance: 2.161.518
- Italian presences: 1.720.640
- Foreign presences: 440.878
Numbers that confirm the solidity of the Vieste tourist sector, in line with the 2024 results.
With these figures, Vieste remains the most visited place in Puglia, followed closely by Bari.
The hospitality sectors
The analysis of data by sector highlights the growing importance of non-hotel hospitality.

- Non-hotel sector (campsites, villages, B&Bs): 1.424.982 attendance
