What is Vieste in Love

This is a cycle of events, scheduled for early September, also in 2025.
“The idea has a very specific goal. Vieste in Love wants to transform the city of Cristalda e Pizzomunno in the city of eternal love. A love expressed in a thousand ways: for nature and the territory, for animals and children, for life and for the sea. And romantic love, sure. That won't be missing even for an instant." reads the press release of the first edition, in 2019.

Vieste in Love 2025: the program

Vieste is preparing to light up the heart of the September summer with a new edition of Vieste in Love, the event that celebrates love in all its forms through music, entertainment and culture. From cabaret to singer-songwriters, to shows for children, Piazza Marina Piccola and the city centre will be transformed into a stage full of emotions. All events are open to free entry.

September 8 – Gabriele Cirilli in Vieste

It starts on September 8th with the overwhelming show of Gabriel Cirilli, actor and comedian beloved by the general public. Known for his iconic characters such as Tatiana, Romilde and Rolando, Cirilli will bring to the stage a hilarious journey through monologues, sketches and gags that retrace his career, mixing tradition and innovation of Italian comic theatre. An unmissable opportunity to experience an evening of authentic and shared laughter.

September 9th – Vieste Music Festival

September 9th will be the time for the Vieste Music Festival, a great contest dedicated to young Italian talents. A prestigious stage where passion and talent meet, offering new musical promises the opportunity to perform in front of the audience of Vieste. The artistic direction is entrusted to Leo Soldano for Blue Moon, hosted by Mauro Pulpit, a well-known face on Apulian TV and a charismatic presenter who will liven up the evening with his engaging style.

September 10th – NEK in Vieste

September 10th will be the protagonist NEK, one of the most beloved Italian artists, with over 10 million records sold and a thirty-year career studded with international successes. From “Laura non c'è” to “Se io non abbia te”, up to the most recent hits, the singer will give the audience an unforgettable evening with a free concert where you can sing your most famous songs at the top of your lungs.

September 11 – Luca Ward and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Puglia, concert in Vieste

September 11th, a one-of-a-kind event: Luca Ward, famous Italian actor and voice actor, known for being the voice of Russell Crowe in "Gladiator" and other iconic characters of world cinema, will be the protagonist of a concert-story in collaboration with the Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese. An intense and exciting evening, with the greatest soundtracks of cinema: from “The Lion King” to “Pulp Fiction”, passing through “Tomorrow Never Dies” and many others.

September 12 – Terrazze Sonore and DJ Set

Double appointment on September 12th. At 20pm, in the historic center, space for Sound terraces, with musical performances broadcast from balconies and terraces thanks to the Apulian Philharmonic Orchestra: strings, wind instruments, and percussion will blend with the magic of the ancient village, creating an open-air stage.

At 21pm, Marina Piccola will transform into a dance floor under the stars with DJ sets by Andrew Damante e Merk & Kremont, for an evening of full rhythm.

September 13 – Tribute to Pino Daniele with Nello Daniele

September 13th will be dedicated to singer-songwriter music with a tribute concert to Pino DanieleHis brother will perform his songs In Daniel, in an exciting show that will retrace the unforgettable successes of the Neapolitan artist, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his death.

September 14 – Carolina Benvenga and Wonderland

The grand finale is September 14th, a day dedicated to children. It begins at 18:00 PM in the historic center and on San Lorenzo beach with Wonderland, a magical, fairytale afternoon for children and families, with entertainment and games through the streets of the village.

At 20:00 pm, in Marina Piccola, he will go on stage Caroline Welcome, a beloved face among children for her programs on Rai Yoyo. With an interactive musical show, Carolina will get her young audience singing and dancing to close out a week filled with love and joy.
A colorful and engaging show, designed for the little ones, but sure to thrill parents too. Singing, dancing, and smiling, we'll see off summer together with the positive energy of the "queen of smiles," as she's affectionately known to her young audience.
