Vieste Summer 2025 Program
Vieste en Rose – June 1st
On June 1st Vieste toasts to summer with Vieste en Rose, an event dedicated to the rosé wines of the territory. Tastings, meetings with producers and relaxing atmospheres to discover the variety and quality of Apulian rosés.
Feast of St. Anthony – June 7-13
From 7 to 13 June, Vieste celebrates Saint Anthony of Padua, among the most beloved celebrations of the community. Solemn masses, processions, shows and concerts will enliven the days in a perfect mix of the sacred and the profane. Don't miss the great fireworks display and the tribute concert to Max Pezzali & 883 in the splendid setting of Marina Piccola.
Pink Ribbon Tour – June 5-10
The Nastro Rosa Tour, the Navy's national sailing circuit, is back in 2025. The boats will liven up the coast with unfurled sails and spectacular maneuvers, offering an exciting sight between sport and elegance.
Vieste in Art – June 16-19
New for 2025 is Vieste in Arte, a review created with the associations Diapason, Blue Moon Studio, Fever Dance Academy and the collective Passi d'Arte. Performances and exhibitions will animate various places in the city, enhancing the link between creativity and territory.
Collateral Maris Festival – Approdi (June 20-22)
The VIII edition of the Festival returns from 20th to 22nd June Collateral Maris, Festival of Art and Landscapes. At the Porticello Tower, a suggestive watchtower, there will be exhibitions, meetings and performances capable of creating a dialogue between the challenges of the contemporary with the natural and historical environment of the Gargano.
Olympic Triathlon Gold – June 22
Sports lovers cannot miss the Gold Olympic Triathlon: a spectacular challenge that combines swimming, running and cycling in the breathtaking setting of the Gargano promontory.
ArcheoFilm Festival – June 23-25
Vieste becomes the capital of auteur documentary with the ArcheoFilm Festival, dedicated to cinema on archaeology and the environment. A unique opportunity to discover the past through the eye of the camera.
International Art Exhibitions – May to September
Vieste hosts three major exhibitions in the 2025:
- Steve McCurry, “Cibo”, at the Museo Civico Archeologico “M. Petrone”, from May 24th to September 28th. The images of the famous photographer tell the story of the relationship between humanity and food.
- Jeff Koons, at the Torre di San Felice, from June 14 to September 14. The provocative art of the neo-pop master meets the majesty of one of the most fascinating places in Gargano.
- Salvador Dali, Love and Psyche. At the Community Library, from July 11th to August 31st. A journey into the visionary surrealism of the great Catalan artist, between dream, reality and subconscious.
July 18-20, FestambienteSud
The Vieste edition of FestambienteSud will be opened by Argentine saxophonist Javier Girotto and Aires Tango, with a concert brimming with jazz and modern tango influences. The concert will take place at Marina Piccola, with free admission, starting at 21:XNUMX PM.
The second event on the 19th will be a journey into traditional Malian music with Baba Sissoko, exploring African sounds and ancestral stories told through the sounds of his voice and his ngoni. This event will also be held in Marina Piccola, with free admission starting at 21 pm. The grand finale on the 20th will feature the overwhelming energy of Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, heirs to the Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. A powerful and politically engaged concert that will close the Vieste leg with rhythm and passion. The event will again be held in Marina Piccola, with free admission starting at 21 pm.
The Possible Book
The usual appointment with the Festival “il libro possibile” will not be missed, with meetings with well-known figures from the world of culture and entertainment from 22 to 26 July.
Cristalda & Pizzomunno Festival and FestambienteSud – July
The month of July brings with it two unmissable events: the Cristalda & Pizzomunno Festival, which celebrates the legend of the famous monolith, and FestambienteSud (18–20 July), the festival dedicated to sustainability and the territory.
World Folklore Festival – August 6-9
Four days of dances and traditions from around the world transform Vieste into a cultural crossroads, thanks to the World Folklore Festival, one of the most anticipated of the season.
Oil Week – August 24-28
A space dedicated to the gastronomic excellence of the territory: the Week of Oil celebrates the olive culture with tastings, workshops and meetings.
Vieste Summer Fest – 1-3 August
The heart of summer explodes with the Vieste Summer Fest, a new musical event that will liven up the nights of August 1, 2 and 3. The Kolors, Patty Pravo and Fabri Fibra will alternate on stage for three evenings dedicated to great Italian music.
Vieste in Love – 8-14 September
September opens with Vieste in Love, the event that transforms Vieste into the city of love. Cabaret, concerts, children's shows and poetic moments will invade Marina Piccola and the historic center. Guests include: Gabriele Cirilli, NEK, Luca Ward with the Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese and Carolina Benvenga.
Parkour Week – September 15-21
A dynamic and spectacular event: Parkour Week will see athletes from all over Italy compete in stunts among the urban architecture of the town, transforming Vieste into an open-air sports stage.
Rally Porta del Gargano – 10-11 October
The roar of engines closes the summer with the Rally Porta del Gargano: two days of adrenaline between hairpin bends and breathtaking views.
Capocanario – October 25th
Autumn ends with the Capocanario, a musical festival.
