The new edition of “Vieste and its guests 2025” is available, the annual study dedicated to the analysis of tourism in the city of Vieste, edited by Diego Romano of Datatrip.it and now in its sixth edition.
The report combines official data on tourist flows with thousands of questionnaires completed directly on the TurismoVieste.it website, offering a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the tourist experience in Vieste.
The 2025 edition confirms a very high level of overall satisfaction: over half of the comments collected express a positive sentiment, with opinions that especially highlight the sea, hospitality, quality of food, and the charm of the historic center.
Many visitors describe Vieste as a place that "stays in the heart," a sign of a strong emotional bond and a consolidated tourist identity.
The study analyzes in detail the main sectors of the offer—hotels, B&Bs, holiday homes, villages, campsites, and residences—and examines the differences in the behaviors and expectations of the various guest targets.
Among the most interesting sections are those dedicated to mobility and accessibility, the perceived quality of services, and the critical issues that emerge during peak periods, such as parking, urban cleanliness, and the cost of living.
The importance of better distributing tourist flows throughout the year is also highlighted, with the aim of attracting new audiences from abroad and promoting more sustainable tourism.
“Vieste and its guests 2025” features a new graphic design, curated by Graziano Iannoli, who designed the layout and photos.
The volume is available on Amazon in ebook format, and the proceeds will be donated entirely to a non-governmental organization that offers medical care and healthcare in the most disadvantaged areas of the world, in continuity with the spirit of solidarity and participation that has accompanied the project since its first editions.
From official data to visitors' comments, the study offers a candid and up-to-date snapshot of Vieste as a tourist destination: a beloved, welcoming city, but also aware of future challenges related to sustainability, quality of services, and seasonal adaptation of its offerings.
