Christmas in Vieste 2025 brings a rich calendar of events for residents and visitors from December 6th to January 6th. A whole month of music, guided tours, traditions, shows, and activities for adults and children, including illuminated squares, Santa Claus's Village, and the timeless charm of the old town.

December 6 – Feast of St. Nicholas
4:00 pm band performance by the Gerolamo Cariglia Association;
17.00 pm procession;
18.30 pm solemn mass;
7:30 pm: Arrival of Saint Nicholas with distribution of pettòle, stockings for children, entertainment and final fireworks.
December 7 – Milan Day (2nd edition)
Piazza Cavour, starting 11:00 a.m. Sporting events, giveaways, games, and children's activities.
December 8 – Lighting of the Christmas Tree
6:00 PM: Santa's Village inauguration with mascots, balloons, face painting, soap bubbles, popcorn, and a traveling sleigh.
8:00 PM “Sonic – Live in Vieste” in Piazza Marina Piccola.
December 9 – Dragut Rais and the Rebirth of Vieste
Traveling history trail starting from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele (5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm).
December 12 – Earth Rhythms
Performance by the folk group in Via Giovanni XXIII (6:00 pm).
December 13 – Laus et jubilo et Gloria
Concert for trumpet and organ at the Parish of SS. Sacramento (7:15 pm).
December 14 – The Bagpipers of Monte Sant'Angelo
Traveling musical show from 10:30 am.
December 15 – Disney 100
Viale XXIV Maggio, 7:00 p.m. Theatrical performance dedicated to Disney's 100th anniversary.
December 18 – Pizzecch & Muzzecche
Musical group in Viale XXIV Maggio (18.30 pm).

5:30 pm Christmas musical performance by the dance school.

7:30 pm “Joy of the World” – Christmas Concert (Parish of the Blessed Sacrament).
7:15 pm Christmas Concert (Falcone e Borsellino Auditorium).
December 22 – Baltimore Gospel Singers
Gospel show at the Church of Jesus the Good Shepherd (8:30 pm).
December 23 – Play Christmas
Tombolo, memory game, snakes and ladders, and twister in Santa's Village (5:30 p.m.).
December 26 – “The Church of the Sea”
5:30 pm guided tour of the Church of San Francesco.
December 27 – “The Stone Tells”
10:00 a.m. Walk among centuries-old olive trees, dry stone walls, and cutini.
7:00 pm performance by the folk group “La Veste'sène”.
December 28 – The Wine Routes
Food and wine tour starting at 7:00 pm between Via Madonna della Libera, Viale XXIV Maggio and Piazzale Jenner.
December 29 – “The Castle on the Village”
10:30 a.m. Guided tour of the Swabian Castle.
6:00 p.m. Traveling musical performance by the “Paola Rinaldi” band.
December 31st – New Year's Eve in the Square
Party and music starting at 11:00 PM in Corso Lorenzo Fazzini.
January 2 – “The Convent of the Angels”
6:00 pm guided tour of the Civic Archaeological Museum and the Church of the Blessed Sacrament.
January 5 – Coal Hunt
5:00 pm: Children's activities, treasure hunt, and themed games.
January 6 – Moto Befana 2026
