From May to September 2025, Vieste will host three exhibitions in as many cultural venues, ranging from photography to twentieth-century art to contemporary expressions. The exhibitions, although different from each other, are united by the use of significant places in the urban and coastal fabric of the city, offering visitors cultural itineraries rooted in the territory.
Steve McCurry at the Archaeological Museum “Michele Petrone” in Vieste
Il archaeological Museum “Michele Petrone”, located in the city center, will host a photographic exhibition with works by Steve McCurry, “Cibo”, from May 24 to September 28. The selection focuses on themes related to food, the environment, sustainability and climate. The museum space, dedicated to the history of Vieste and Gargano, is also suitable for hosting contemporary exhibitions.

The Biblioteca San Francesco, located on the peninsula of the same name, is the location chosen for the exhibition “In the mind of the master”, dedicated to Salvador Dalì. The works of the famous Catalan artist will be presented from 11 July to 31 August in the spaces recently adapted to host cultural events,
San Felice Tower, Jeff Kons exhibition
Finally, from June 14 to September 14, the Torre di San Felice, one of the historic lookout points on the Gargano coast, will be the venue for the exhibition dedicated to Jeff Koons. The rooms of the tower, restored and open to the public after years of closure, will be used to exhibit some of the most recent works by the American artist, one of the major exponents of neo pop art.
