Vieste has an excellent climate due to its geographical location, protected to the west by the Gargano mountains, and exposed to the mitigated winds that come from the sea that bathes the Viestana peninsula on 3 sides. Also for this reason it is one of the most sought after locations by tourists from all over Europe in Puglia.
Its Mediterranean climate makes summers cool and winters not too cold.
To create this mild temperature throughout the year is the sea with its thermoregulatory action which positively affects the weather.
In addition to the sea, the wind is the other protagonist among the forces of nature that influence this land.
Vieste is targeted by all types of winds, mistral, scirocco, tramontana, libeccio etc… these winds make the summer heat less aggressive, transforming your holiday into a pleasant experience to remember.

In case, hopefully never, of deluge and storm, we advise you to read a good book in your room. The sound of the wind, the rain and the stormy sea will be your background music while you read a good book, such as Moby Dick by Herman Melville.
