On 5 and 6 April, Vieste hosts the caravan of the traffic police which illustrates the project "Road safety for students". In addition to the "blue bus" there is also one of the 2 beautiful "Lamborghini" of the State Police, enhanced by the splendid setting of the Marina Piccola.
The Lamborghini Huracán LP-610 supplied to the Police, in addition to being a means of representation and a powerful attraction for Police initiatives, is equipped for the transport of organs with a special preservation system.
From the official page of the State Police they let it be known that:
“The car is used, at the request of the National Transplant Center, when organs, such as the kidneys, can survive for several hours outside the human body and when transport can be scheduled well in advance. The use of Lamborghini thus it allows the helicopters to be left free for sudden emergencies, but still guaranteeing delivery in absolute safety and quickly.”
In addition to the car, there is also theL "Pullman blue", a real multimedia classroom where the policemen of the road become "masters of safety" for children and adolescents.
The caravan will also move to a high school in Viestana.
