Named after the rock of the same name (chianca, stone) located in the centre of the small bay, the beach is located 8km north of Vieste.
About 200 meters wide and with a sandy and shallow seabed (which allows you to reach the rock), the beach is suitable for children but also for rock lovers.
The perfectly functioning trabucco on the islet of Chianca makes this beach unique.
Very impressive is the sea cave located in the area, partially open on the upper side, once a refuge for some specimens of monk seals.
