Il Gargano Loop Tour (GAG) took second place at theItalian Cycling Oscar, the prestigious award that annually recognizes the best Italian "greenways," capable of promoting slow tourism and sustainable mobility through quality routes and services dedicated to two-wheeled travelers.
This is a significant achievement that brings one of Italy's most fascinating regions into the national spotlight, confirming that Gargano has all the makings of a premier cycling destination. 
A 350-kilometer journey through nature, history, and villages
Il Gargano Loop Tour It is a cycling route of approximately 350 kilometers that crosses the Gargano National Park, connecting extraordinary places through a network of secondary roads, rural paths, and trails.
The route can be completed in its entirety over several days or divided into shorter stages, allowing each cyclist to customize the experience based on their abilities and available time.
Along the way you will encounter some of the Gargano area's best attractions:
- Vieste and its historic center overlooking the sea;
- Peschici, with its characteristic white village;
- the Umbra Forest, a UNESCO heritage site thanks to its ancient beech forests;
- Monte Sant'Angelo and the Sanctuary of Saint Michael the Archangel;
- Morning and the landscape of the Dauni land;
- the Hermitages of Pulsano;
- Lake Varano, the largest coastal lake in Italy;
