Until 17 September 2023 it is possible to visit an exclusive exhibition dedicated to Banksy, the famous English artist and major exponent of international street art, at the Michele Petrone Archaeological Civic Museum in Vieste.
The times of the exhibition are as follows:
June: Tuesday to Sunday 18.00-22.00
July – August: Tuesday to Sunday 18.30-23.30
September: Tuesday to Sunday 18.00-22.00
The exhibition, promoted by the Municipality of Vieste and organized by MetaMorfosi Eventi in collaboration with Giuseppe Benvenuto and the Polo Culturale di Vieste, will offer a selection of screen prints, among the most representative of the artist.
In the exhibition, Banksy is treated as a great classical master, and visitors can delve into the author's artistic imagination through his most representative works. In addition to the famous Love is in the Air (Flower Thrower), the exhibition includes famous pieces such as Girl with Balloon, Bomb Hugger and the series composed of the 3 rats.

The "Banksy in Vieste" exhibition, set up in the upper rooms of the Archaeological Museum, includes forty original and certified works by the artist, enriched by about twenty large reproductions of frescoes and a detailed didactic itinerary.
