Vieste is getting even closer to the big Italian cities thanks to the new summer bus connection offered by Gargano railways. From July 15 to September 15, 2025, the seasonal bus line Vieste – Naples – Rome will be active, a comfortable and direct service designed for travelers and tourists who want to reach Gargano without stress.
A direct connection between the heart of Gargano and the Italian metropolises
The new service, operated by Ferrovie del Gargano, includes a daily return journey connecting Vieste with Foggia, Naples and Rome. The bus leaves every day from Vieste, precisely from Piazzale Lungomare Europa, at 13:45, making intermediate stops in Foggia (Terminal BUS) at 15:25, in Naples (Metropark – Corso Arnaldo Lucci) at 17:55, until arriving in Rome (Autostazione Tiburtina) at 21:05.

This direct connection is also perfect for those who want to explore Vieste starting from the big cities, perhaps for a relaxing holiday in villages in Vieste or for a discovery of its fascinating natural and cultural heritage.

The return journey is also designed to offer maximum comfort to passengers. It leaves from Rome Tiburtina at 06:25, continues with a stop in Naples at 09:35, Foggia at 12:05, and then arrives back in Vieste at 13:45.
